Going to Ottawa, I pack too Much!

Hey!
I hate that when I go somewhere I have to bring half of my house and 3 times more clothes then I need! I'm going to Ottawa (which for all you Americans is Canada's capital! :P
Lol) I went there for a few days a couple of years ago, and loved it.
Since my boyfriend has a business trip there we decided to stay a few extra days and make a "mini
Vacay" out of it. Sorry I don't have time to get to blogs, I've been terribly busy making tonnes of cat food (I make both dry and cat food from scratch). And packing everything in site. I promise when I get back I will comment on each and every blog.
We may end up having
internet access at the hotel, and if we do I will update regularly with my culinary and sight-seeing adventures of the beautiful, hopefully Vegan friendly city!
If not I will update you all on Sunday.
I will post photos of food(it will be my first time taking food pics at a restaurant), and anything else I think might interest any of you.
Last night was my first time using cashews in a savory cream sauce! All I have to say is Oh my god! I can't believe I waited this long. No soy taste! (Although I have gotten use to it) but cashews make it so much more filling and decadent and amazing!

This was an "Al
Forno" Spicy Tomato Cream sauce pasta.
With peppers and onions and a New
Aylmers Canned tomato product which I will review once I get back and I will post the recipe, because it was out of this world!

I had it with a balsamic dressed salad, and garlic bread on this beautiful homemade loaf of bread!

And I also
Veganized another food network recipe or technically a "Rachel Ray" show recipe.
Called BLT
Bruschetta, its crispy bread coated in Avocado mixed in with garlic, lime juice and S&P.
Then tomatoes mixed in with crispy Bacon (in my case veggie bacon), basil, and red onions. It was great. I also threw in some diced and pitted black olives (I just recently have started liking olives and now can't get enough of them!) Heres the link to RR's recipe : BLT Bruschetta
And I served the
Bruschetta along side, homemade Vegan Cream of Asparagus Soup.

I hope to "See" you all again soon!

Question of the Blog: Have you ever visited you provinces/state capital?
